BioJakob Tendel is the primary research liaison at DFN and the project manager responsible for coordinating the activities of DFN in national research data efforts. He coordinates with Géant on the activities of German user organizations in international big data science projects and is jointly responsible for managing DFN’s cloud services portfolio. His background is in atmospheric science in Germany and the US and he holds a PhD in meteorology for the application of satellite remote sensing to aviation safety forecasts. He joined DFN in 2013.
