Opportunities for Baltic ring: results of the Baltic Sea Regional Study

DescriptionThe Baltic Sea Regional Study is a collaboration between GÉANT Association, Northern Europe and the Baltic NRENs to evaluate the future connectivity requirements of NRENs in the corresponding region, as well as possible connections with neighbouring countries. The Study was seeking for solutions how to deliver those requirements, from a supplier, topology and overall network design perspective. The Study formulates the strategy of the network development in the region, and propose the next steps for its implementation by NRENs and GÉANT.
