BioOtto J Wittner received his BEng in Information Systems Engineering from University of Surrey, UK, in 1993 and his PhD in Network Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2003. Between and during studies he held positions as system programmer (ICL and Alcatel) and research fellow (NTNU). In 2003 he joined the Q2S centre of excellence at the same university as a postdoc. Currently he holds a position in then UNINETT and is full-time engaged in their internal research and innovation program. He has published more than 30 publications in journals and scientific conferences. His current main interests are large scale multimedia transport and management, dependable stochastic routing systems and traffic analysis.
