What personal data do we collect?

Our web servers log all requests processed from client access storing attributes such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and your computer's Operating System.
When you register for NORDUnet conferences, workshops, other services and events, make an enquiry or join one of our mailing lists you may be asked to provide some personal data such as your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. This information may be stored in a database for internal NORDUnet use.

When you log in to NORDUnet sites that use federated authentication, we store the attributes that are being sent to us.

NORDUnet does not store credit card numbers or credit card details on any of its servers.

How do we use your personal data?
We use your data to make sure that your wishes for registration to NORDUnet events are complied with.

To whom might we disclose your personal data?
Your personal data will not be shared with any third-party unless NORDUnet is obliged to do so or allowed to do so by law, or where we need to do so in order to perform administrative routines relating conference and workshop events held under the auspices of NORDUnet.
Where professionally relevant we may share it with one or more of the Nordic NRENs.
