Supporting FAIR data

DescriptionThe FAIR principles, published just a couple of years ago, are quickly gaining widespread support as one of the building blocks of Open Science. FAIR data is listed as a goal in the implementation roadmap of EOSC as well. In this talk I will take a practical view on FAIR and explore what FAIR data could mean from a – possibly automated – data consumer’s point of view. This will lead into a discussion of what kind of supporting infrastructure and services would be needed in order to support supplying FAIR data to humans as well as to machines.
