BioCharlie van Genuchten studied History and Arabic at Utrecht and Leiden University and joined SURF in 2016 as a Product Manager Privacy and Security. Her main passions in her work life lie in organising huge cyber crisis exercises, and creating security and privacy awareness materials, both in the Netherlands and internationally. From her work at SURF, she knows the threats and challenges we face in the digital world and from her studies, she knows the importance of engaging people through storytelling to make sure they are aware and know how to handle those threats.
