DescriptionInnovation has always been a hallmark of the research and education networking space. It is now important to innovate in all areas of “networking” including service provision and especially the business side of collaboration. So what are the challenges, solutions and benefits come from collaborating in this area?
This session will cover a variety of innovative aspects on the business side of community collaboration including: build cloud infrastructure with pooled knowledge and finance; delivering stable infrastructure, dynamic test beds and participating in standards development to support real research use-cases to build a competitive and innovative future internet network environment; and challenging researchers to push the limits of the network for big data intensive applications.
How will the business of innovation support the goals of our research and education community?
