Uppsala is located around 70 km north of Stockholm, and easy to reach from Stockholm's main airport, Arlanda via train. The transfer time is less than 20 minutes. Train fare one way (express train) is SEK 150-190 depending on time of the day.
If you prefer to go by taxi you can read more via the link below. Typical price from Arlanda to Uppsala is around SEK 500, but ask the taxi driver to confirm the rate.

Uppsala University, founded in 1477, is the oldest university in Scandinavia, and with a combination of cultural heritage, an easily accessible location, and the lively atmosphere of a city with 40,000 students Uppsala makes a great place to host the NORDUnet conference.
The conference itself will take place in the University Main Building (“Universitetshuset”). It is located in the center of Uppsala, close to the train station, the cathedral, and in walking distance to hotels and restaurants.
