BioSebastien Ceuterickx is the Wi-Fi network service manager and architect at CERN. Responsible for the definition of the strategy, the design and the management of this wireless network, he fosters the development of the CERN Wi-Fi network which currently supports more than 7000 users daily. In this role, Sebastien is the project leader of Eduroam@CERN. He also recently led the implementation and the deployment of a VDSL/Wi-Fi service everywhere along the 27kms of the LHC tunnel. Expert in wireless communication system, Sebastien was also the technical manager of the WIND openlab project, a CERN/HP research collaboration in the field of Wi-Fi networks.
Sebastien has an extensive experience in designing and managing large scale network service. He develops expertise in automated network management system for enhancing daily network configuration and operation tasks as well as end-user remote troubleshooting. As a network engineer, he takes part in different networking related projects at CERN.
He holds a Master of Science in telecommunication systems engineering from Telecom Lille, France. He is an occasional lecturer in different networking related subjects.
