DescriptionResearch and education users are rapidly adopting mobile devices and a “nomadic” work style, both on and off campus. Users want continuous access to their data, anytime and anywhere, and at a reasonable price and quality. These types of services are often purchased just like hardware and software. We know that shared procurement has potential benefits such as reduced transaction and operational cost, but it can also present challenges related to cooperation in different cultures with varying legal requirements.

This session will provide some examples from three projects.
