Off to a good start

Close to 200 people attended the opening session, where they were welcomed by CEO Petter Kongshaug of UNINETT and VP Torbjørn Eeg Larsen of OAUC. Keynote speaker Roshene McCool described the challenges of creating a network for the world's largest radio telescope, and CEO Rene Buch finished the session with a talk on the global e-infrastructure landscape towards 2020.

The conference continues until 17.30 with parallel sessions. Tonight Oslo Municipality hosts a reception at the City Hall.

The 27th NORDUnet Conference opens at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (OAUC) on Tuesday 18 September. The organizers, NORDUnet, UNINETT and OAUC, welcome all speakers, sponsors and delegates to the conference.

All sessions are held at Oslo and Akershus University College, Pilestredet 35, Oslo. Registration opens Tuesday 18 September at 8 am.
